President Buhari sends condolence to the family of late Punch Newspaper’s chairman.
PRESIDENT Mohammadu Buhari has sent a heartfelt condolence to the family of the Chairman of Punch Nigeria Limited, Mr Gbadebowale Aboderin. Aboderin died at the age of sixty.
However, Buhari equally commiserated with all members of the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN). The president also commiserate with the media and sports industry in the country on the death. The late Aboderin was a respected entrepreneur and philanthropist.
“President Buhari believes that Aboderin was greatly admired by his peers. Most importantly, in the media and sports industry. He will be long remembered. Especially for his resourcefulness, managerial proficiency and invaluable contributions to the growth of these sectors”. Spokesman Garba Shehu said in a statement.
“The President prays that God Almighty will comfort all who mourn him. And grant his soul eternal rest,” he added.
In a recent development, president Mohammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of late former president of Nigeria. The late former president Shehu Shagari.
President Muhammadu Buhari has paid a condolence visit to Sokoto State. Thi is over the death Nigeria’s first executive President, Shehu Shagari.
Above all, during the visit on Sunday, the President condoled with the government and people of the state. Moreover, he promised that the Federal Government will institute a suitable memorial to immortalise the Former President.
The president flew into the state capital in the morning. And visited the residence of the late Shagari where he signed the condolence register.
Nevertheless he described the former president as the link between the country’s first-generation leaders and the present leadership.
