OTODO GBAME 2016 SECURITY FORCE ATTACK VICTIMS DEMAND JUSTICE

The victims of November 2016 Otodo Gbame attack are demanding justice.

Otodo Gbame otherwise known as MTN Ghetto is located behind Ultima Studio Lekki Lagos State of Nigeria.

In the midnight of a day in November 2016, State Authorities and Armed Men invaded Otodo Gbame Lagos State.

Residents who were having peaceful sleep were attacked with gunfire and teargas.

Homes were set on fire and demolished them with bulldozers.

Many residents were evicted without giving the opportunity of accessing a new home.

Residents lost all they gathered in life within a twinkle of an eye.

25 years old Nasu was among the evicted.

Before Nasu was evicted, he was shot and wounded seriously. Nasu almost died.

It was the grace of God that kept him alive today.

Today, Nasu and thousands of other victims who survived the forced evictions are demanding justice.

This is a pure barbaric act. This needs to be condemned.

The victims implore the Federal Government to look into this uncivilised act.
