SCHOLARSHIP – BEST 2019 WAEC CANDIDATES GET SCHOLARSHIP

The overall best candidates of 2019 West African Examination Council have been awarded scholarship by Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha.

Meanwhile, the best WAEC candidates are Imo State born Chizoba Ugbaja and Favour Chukwuemeka Alozie.

However, Chizoba and Favour got scholarship to university level from Imo state government.

Ironically, both 1st and 2nd best 2019 WASSCE candidates are not only from Nigeria, but from same Mbaise in Imo state.

Furthermore, the two children, are from two (sister) Local Government Areas in Mbaise.

Chizobam Ugboaja is from Akpodim Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA.

While Alozie Chukwuemeka is from Oboama Nguru, Aboh Mabise LGA.

Both Chizobam and Alozie made ‘A1’ grades in all the subjects the sat for in the 2019 WASSCE.

However, while Chizobam came first, Alozie came second.

Ihedioha awarded full academic scholarship to university to the two.

The gesture of sponsoring the students in any university of their choices by Imo State Government is part of upliftment. And support of excellence and hard work by Governor Emeka Ihedioha.

Furthermore, Stephany and Favor’s recognition by the governor serves as a motivator to all Imo students.
