Two telecoms companies in India have been told to use locally-made rather than Chinese telecom equipment to upgrade their mobile networks to 4G.
A senior government source told Reuters news agency on Thursday that they are not okay with Chinese equipment.
Meanwhile, the New Delhi’s move comes amid a backlash against companies from China.
And it arise as a result of the killing of 20 Indian soldiers by Chinese forces in a Himalayan border dispute this week.
