Algeria has terminated its’ diplomatic Ties with Morocco. This came after announcing last week that it would reconsider relations with Morocco.
Yesterday, the Algerian government finally decided to effectively sever ties with its western neighbor, the Moroccan country. The Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister Ramatane Amamra, announced the news yesterday at a press conference.

The foreign Affairs Minister stated that the action was done over Morocco’s normalisation of relations with Israel, and a disputed territory (Western Sahara) aiming to be a country, which Algeria supports.
Earlier, Algeria had rejected Morocco’s help and accused a group it linked to Morocco and Israel of starting wild fires in the country. According to report, Algiers have been accusing Rabat of using Pegasus spyware against its’ officials, among others.
Nevertheless, Algeria said that a group that has link with Isreal started the devastating wild fire in her country this year which declined the Algerian economic growth.
Meanwhile, Algeria and Morocco have having shaky diplomatic relations over several decades now.
Despite the unilateral decision, the Moroccan government said it will remain a loyal partner for the Algerian people.
According to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “Morocco has taken note of the unilateral decision of Algeria to sever diplomatic ties with Rabat, despite the unilateral decision, the Moroccan government said it will remain a loyal partner for the Algerian people.
