A hero nurse who worked round the clock saving Coronavirus victims had been killed by a gunman.
The nurse, Kristen Beaton was killed in Canada’s deadliest mass shooting.
Kristen was pregnant with her second child at the time of her death.
According to Kristen Beaton’s husband Nick, they were expecting their second child.
Nick further said that he had spoken to his wife minutes before she was killed.
The nurse was killed by a gunman identified as Gabriel Wortman in Nova Scotia on Sunday.
Nevertheless, the heartbroken husband revealed his hero nurse wife was pregnant when she was shot dead.
However, the attack has been described as Canada’s deadliest mass shooting.

Gunman Gabriel Wortman killed 23 victims during his 12-hour shooting across Nova Scotia between Saturday and Sunday.
During the shooting, the gunman burnt down some homes.
Nick Beaton in his Facebook post said his wife worked for Victorian Order of Nurses (VON). And was treating patients of coronavirus on the front line.
“She cried everyday before and everyday after work scared to bring this covid home to her son she loved more than I could even imagine anyone could love one person,” he said in a report by the Daily Mail.
Speaking to CTV News, Nick said his wife was due to be on holiday from work this week. And they were going to announce the news to their families.
Our son Daxton was going to wear a shirt and let everybody know,” explained a tearful Nick. Who had spoken to Kristen on the phone minutes before her death.
The grieving husband had to heartbreakingly reveal to Daxton his mum had died and was now “in heaven”.
Nick describe the gunman, Gabriel Wortman as “extremely cowardly”
Gabriel Wortman was dressed as a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer and drove an old force cruiser.
Wortman’s killing spree took him across the eastern province, including the small town of Portapique where he lived, police said.
And though the motive is currently unclear.
But it is understood that the 51-year-old Gabriel had killed his ex-wife and her new partner first.
Police initially believed there were only 19 victims. Including veteran police officer and mother-of-two Heidi Stevenson.
Another four bodies were found at five different homes Wortman had set on fire.
However, Gabriel Wortman had an obsession with the RCMP, nicknamed the ‘mounties’, since school.
He had also collected related gear for years, including decommissioned cars at auction. According to reports.
Meanwhile, A GoFundMe page has raised over $67,000 for the Beaton family in the wake of the murders.
