The Igbo leaders in Orsu community have apologized to the family of the late icon Pericoma Okoye and the entire Arondizogu Community over Odumeje recent comments.
This apology is due to the recent insult and challenge prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje gave the people recently.
Meanwhile, as the dispute between the controversial Onitsha-based prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanemere popularly known as Odumeje, and the people of Arondizuogu, continues to linger, Igbo leaders have come out to mediate and apologise on behalf of the prophet.
It all started in the 6th of May 2020 when a video surfaced on social media.
In the video, Odumeje was heard saying that late Pericoma’s children are useless to the society while the entire people of Arondizuogu are very poor and useless over their involvement in fetish practices.
Following this comments by Odumeje, the children of chief perikoma have drawn the battle line with Odumeje.

However, Omor Perry, one of the sons of late Pericoma dared the pastor to a challenge.
Ichie Omor, an illustrious Igbo son told prophet Chukwuemeka to choose a time and venue for them to go into a spiritual fight and put their powers to test.
Nevertheless, some villagers and elder were later seen in a viral video sitting at the great Izuogu shrine while a young native doctor performed rituals against Prophet Odumeje.
The native Doctor called on all their gods to come out and fight prophet Odumeje for condemning them.
Furthermore, the native doctor aledged that the prophet got his power from an Indian deity.
Above all, the native doctor added that he cannot get his power from a foreign land and test it on Igbo land.
The native doctor then went further to kill a fowl which he claimed had been invoked with the spirit of the prophet.
Notwithstanding, the entire Igbo nation knows that Odumeje is in a big trouble for going this far to challenge Pericoma ( The Lion Of Africa) and Arondizogu community.
And if nothing is done to calm the Izuogu people, Odumeje may not last till the end 2020. Unless he is actually working with the power of the Most High God.

Orsu Leader’s Interference
Therefore, to mediate between two challenging factions, Igbo leaders from Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state have apologised to Arondizogu on behalf of the prophet.
In the letter which was copied to the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, the leaders urged the affected parties to bury their hatchet for peace to reign.
While apologising on behalf of the prophet, the Orsu Local Government Area stakeholders, noted that there will be an interface between the two affected parties once the coronavirus lockdown is over.
It should be recalled that the prophet aka Liquid Metal, Indabosky, Lion had in 2019 said that he will walk on River Niger on a particular date which he did not fulfill.
