Siblings reunite after crash killed their parents

Two Texas siblings who lost both of their parents and their infant sister in a deadly car crash earlier in April were reunited for the first time in the hospital last week — and the photo will break your heart.

Alan Clemens, 31, and Karisa Brianne Clemens, 29, were driving home from a family outing with their five young children on April 7 when another driver lost control of a Chevrolet Tahoe and struck the family’s vehicle head-on, according to KTXS .

Alan, Karisa and their 2-month-old baby girl Juliana were all killed on impact. The Clemens’ four other children, Angela, 8, Zachary, 5, Wyatt, 4, and Nicholas, 2, survived the wreck with injuries ranging from minor to severe.

The children’s’ great aunt, Teresa Burrell, told Buzzed feed news that Angela, 8, sustained major head injuries and was in a coma for a long time following the wreck. She also suffered two broken femurs and is still experiencing memory and brain function issues.

Zachary, 5, sustained a broken back and a ripped colon while Wyatt, 4, had multiple strokes after the crash. Wyatt also suffered extensive brain injuries and was temporarily paralyzed on his left side.

Nicholas, 2, only suffered minor injuries and was discharged from the hospital just days after the accident.

After weeks of intensive care, Angela and Zachary were able to be reunited in the hospital for the first time last week. Their great aunt shared a photo of the bittersweet moment on Facebook, writing , “This is Zachary and Angie. They are able to touch each other for the first time since the accident. Our prayers are for these little ones who have a long journey of healing ahead.”

Burrell said that, although they have a long road to recovery, being together again has helped the children heal.

“I think it gives them power. They grieve together, but they also find happiness together,” she said.

The bird probably left Finland to Denmark. From Denmark to Germany and France. From France, it entered Spain to Portugal and landed in Morocco. From Morocco, it entered western Sahara to Mauritania and landed in Guinea. Probably, from Guinea, it entered Ghana through the Gulf of Guinea and landed in the Delta region of Nigeria where it met its death........... This is the major reason why the bird killed at Isoko North Delta state of Nigeria did not choose to settle at the northern part of the country.
