The Orange Knowledge Program [OKP] 2022-2023 scholarship program is aimed at advancing the development of capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals and organization in developing countries.

This 2022-2023 scholarship program is open for higher fields, vocational education and other related fields. It is opened to mid-career professionals from selected countries.

There are two types of courses: Short courses and Masters Programs.

Short courses always last from 2 weeks to 12 months while masters programs always last from 12 to 24 months.

However, interested candidates can research and study at partner institutions in the Netherlands.

Scholarship Details:

Eligible Fields: All courses listed HERE

Number Of Awards: Unspecified.

Duration: Short courses [2 weeks to 12 months] while masters programs is 12 to 24 months.

Deadlines:

First Batch: 2nd February – 22nd March 2022 at 16.00 CET  [Both master’s and short courses should start between 25 July and 21 November 2022].

Second Batch: 11th May – 28th June 2022 at 16.00 CET  [Short Courses starting between 21 November 2022 and 20 February 2023].

Third Batch: 31st August – 11th October 2022 at 16.00 CET [ Short Courses starting from 20th day of February 2023 onward and must be completed before 31st August 2023].

Last batch deadline is October 11th 2022

Eligible Countries:

Yemen, Zambia, Vietnam, Uganda, Tunisia, Tanzania, Suriname, Sudan South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Nigeria, Senegal, Rwanda, Palestinian Territories, Niger, Myanmar, Mozambique, Mali, Liberia, Lebanon, Kenya, Jordan, Indonesia, Iraq, Guinea, Guatemala, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Burundi, Colombia, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana and Indonesia.

Orange Knowledge Program scholarship is intended to supplement the salary candidates receive during the program. The scholarship is a contribution towards candidates costs of living and other costs like visa, tuition fees, travel, insurance, etc.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must meet the following conditions:

Work for one of the following types of national and/or local organizations: ministries, secondary or higher vocational or academic education institutions, universities, private sector, commissions or NGOs.

The course/program for which the applicant is applying for is offered in English, French or Spanish.

Applicants must be a professional who, in light of his/her (1) role, (2) multiple years of relevant work experience and (3) networks within a theme relevant to local development, is in a position or through his/her employer could be put in a position to apply what he/she has learned in practice.

Hold the nationality of and be resident and working in one of the eligible countries listed above.

Has been admitted to the course or program for which he/she wishes an OKP scholarship.

Demonstrates that the requested co-funding percentage is available to fund the study.

The employer of the applicant supports the scholarship application through a positive reference, declares that it will continue to pay the salary of the Scholarship recipient during the program and after his or her return will give the scholarship recipient an opportunity to apply what he/she has learned in practice.

And the scholarship application is relevant to sustainable development in the country or region where the requesting party is located, and is relevant to the theme concerned.

The course/program for which the applicant is applying for a scholarship is registered at www.studyfinder.nl (OKP-qualified ‘yes’).

The course/program for which the applicant is applying for a scholarship is full time, unless it is an e-learning course.

Also the course/program for which the applicant wishes the OKP Scholarship is a Master’s degree program or short course that meets the requirements set out above.

course content;

Scholarship application deadline [deadlines can differ per Dutch institution]

Scholarship application and selection procedures;

Online application form and the required application documents.

Prepare your application and the supporting documents.

Submit your online application via the Dutch institution offering the course.
